These are the photos of when we were interviewing the directors. It seems so long ago! I don't normally like photos of me but I actually don't mind these ones, probably because I didn't actually realise they were being taken but there we go.
We then went on to produce a show called Ruckus In The Garden. The show was about two rival schools who went on a school trip to the same garden one year, but the garden as magical. Two girls from either school had their bodies swapped by cupids. The girls fall in love with a boy from their own school, but the boys think they are from the other school. Stanley, one of the boys, is a pacifist and doesn't believe in violence; so when a ruckus is due to happen he is determined to end all of the fighting by performing the 'Love, Peace and Harmony action'. The production week was so much fun, despite the 8/9 hour rehearsal periods.
Top photo - The whole (or most) of the cast in rehearsals. Bottom Photo - Me in rehearsals, still can't decide whether I look like I'm about to burst into tears, or burst into laughter but it was the second one.
I've met some amazing friends through the Youth Theatre, and my boyfriend. I can honestly say it's changed me, and for the better. If you'd have told me this time last year that I would be in a Youth Theatre I would've probably have laughed at you - I'm a dancer, not an actor. But I guess that I've also found that I enjoy acting too. It's one of the things that if you gave me the chance to do it again, I would, I really would. I can't really believe I've been involved with all of this for nearly a year now, I've known Mia and Ella nearly a year, and they are honestly two of the nicest people ever and I'm so proud to be able to call them my friends. I also met people later on when we started to do the production, like Amy, Chloe, Jess, Simon, Amar and Isaak. Even Jack, whose like a big brother to me:'). Yeah I met a few people who I really don't like, but that's just going to happen, I don't know many people who get along with absolutely everybody.
Top Photo - Me and the rest of my dressing room L-R Ella, Me, Chloe, Ella, Louise. Got along with most of these girls and they are all just lovely. Bottom Photo - Mainly Amar and Alessi, but there's also others on there such a Bryony, Holly, Chloe and Jess; once again most of the girls on here were lovely, but there's always the odd exception eh?;). And Amar, well Amar's my boy so what can I really say? He's an absolute idiot, but I love him:')
Top Photo - Awh it's Amy! Hate that I never get to see her much because she's in the younger group this term:( Bottom Photo - On the left is Isaak and the right is Barney. Isaak is amazing, Amar's best mate and he's such a nice lad.
Top Photo - Jack and Alice. Jack is so lovely, he's such a gentleman and he's like a big brother to me! Bottom Photo - Simon! He's just amazing, and an excellent actor, he was a rabbit like the one in 'Alice in Wonderland' and he did an amazing job.
Awh more photos from our dressing room! Top Photo - Me and one of my favorite girls Chloe, such a babe she is;) Bottom Photo - Omg, Ella, she's such a funny person and sort of a mother/big sister to us all.
Awh it's Mia! Didn't have a photo that was mainly her to put in so I used this because she just looks so pretty:')
It was such an amazing production week and the last curtain call was such an emotional time:') I think I can honestly say that even through all the bitching, tears and early mornings everyone honestly had such an amazing time and we were all just one big family! The directors were lovely and they even stood having a gossip with us about boys after the final performance on the Saturday. Gonna leave you now with a very emotional photo of us all doing the curtain call, you get such a buzz and adrenaline rush from it haha! Chloe x
